Emir of Ilorin Celebrates Senator Saliu Mustapha at 54, Hails Contributions to Community Development
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has congratulated the Senator representing Kwara Central, Saliu Mustapha, on his 54th birthday, commending his contributions to public service, youth empowerment and community development.
The Emir, in a congratulatory message issued on Friday by his spokesman, Dr Abdulazeez Arowona, described Mustapha, who holds the traditional title of Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, as a distinguished son and ambassador of the Emirate.
He praised the senator’s commitment to the welfare of his constituents, particularly through legislative representation, agricultural support, youth empowerment and philanthropic initiatives.

According to the monarch, Mustapha has consistently demonstrated humility, generosity and dedication to public service while maintaining strong ties with the traditional institution.
“Senator Saliu Mustapha is one of our shining lights in the Ilorin Emirate. He has remained steadfast in upholding the values of our Emirate—respect, hard work, philanthropy and service to humanity,” the Emir said.
Sulu-Gambari also acknowledged the senator’s loyalty to the traditional institution and his contributions to preserving the cultural heritage of Ilorin.
“As he clocks 54, we celebrate his life of service and his loyalty to the traditional institution in the preservation of the cultural heritage of Ilorin Emirate,” he added.
The monarch prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Mustapha long life, good health, increased wisdom and peace of mind as he continues his service to Kwara Central, Kwara State and Nigeria.
He also wished the senator greater success in his legislative responsibilities and future endeavours.
